About Joshua

I first picked up my film camera at the age of 16. That was a turning point for my creativity. After high school, I attended The Art Institute of Dallas. I received a BFA in Advertising Design. Working at agencies around Dallas, I learned & honed my skills that lead to my career change.

I started Fort Lion Studio in 2017 with my partner Yesi. Aside from being the best case study to flex my design work, it helped me to grow as a business-minded individual. I was able took my eye for bold graphic style and apply it to cinematography.

Now I am the lead photographer & DP at PS.SWOON, a photo studio by SWOON, the studio.
